How to Schedule Your Canva Templates With Later, Buffer, or Metricool

Design once, schedule once, forget it

The gap between having beautiful content and actually posting it is where most clinics lose. Scheduling closes that gap permanently.

Step 1: Export correctly

From Canva, export feed posts as PNG and reels as MP4. Use the 1080x1350 portrait size for posts — it takes up more screen space than square, which means more attention for free.

Step 2: Choose the tool that fits you

Later shows a visual grid preview, so you see how your feed will look before anything publishes — the right pick if aesthetic consistency matters to you (and in this industry, it does). Metricool pairs scheduling with analytics you can actually read, at a friendlier price. Buffer is the simplest: queue it and move on.

Step 3: Batch upload

Drag a month of exported designs in at once. Write captions in the tool, not in Instagram — you can see them all side by side and spot repetition.

Step 4: Leave gaps on purpose

Keep one slot per week empty for spontaneous content: a client reaction, a same-day opening. Scheduled content builds the base; spontaneous content builds the relationship.

The whole workflow

Edit templates (30 min) → export (5 min) → upload and caption (40 min) → schedule. A month of content, done before lunch.
