How Often Should a MedSpa Publish Blog Posts?
The honest answer: less than you think, for longer than you want
One excellent post per month, sustained for a year, beats twelve rushed posts in one month followed by silence. Google measures consistency; so does trust.
Why frequency is not the lever
Search rankings reward depth, relevance, and authority — not word count or volume. A single article that fully answers “what to expect after microneedling” will outperform ten thin posts about industry news.
The minimum viable schedule
Twelve posts a year, each answering one real patient question, each linking to two others. That is a genuine content strategy and it fits around a full treatment calendar.
If you have more time
Do not publish more — go deeper. Add FAQs to existing posts. Add photos. Add a video. Depth compounds; volume dilutes.
When to publish more
Launching a new treatment: three posts in one month (what it is, who it suits, real results). Seasonal campaigns: one timely post six weeks ahead, so Google has time to index it before the season arrives.
The rule to remember
Nobody ever lost a patient because a clinic published only once a month. Plenty lost patients because the blog stopped in March.
